Greg Konezny, CFA, Managing Partner
Prior to co-founding Provenire Capital, Mr. Konezny was a portfolio manager (2010-2012) at Surveyor Capital, where he managed a $400 million market neutral equity portfolio focused on TMT securities. Prior to his tenure with Surveyor, he was a Vice President at Deephaven Capital Management (2003-2008), and from 1993 to 2003, held a variety of senior positions within the equity research department at Piper Jaffray. Mr. Konezny earned a BA in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society of Minnesota.
Tony Daffer, Managing Partner
​Prior to co-founding Provenire Capital, Mr. Daffer spent his career in the venture capital business as a Co-Founder and General Partner of Crescendo Ventures (1998-2005). Crescendo was an early-stage venture capital firm with $1.2 billion of AUM raised over five funds. He was involved with 22 technology companies that completed IPOs or were acquired by public companies. He was also a General Partner at IAI Ventures (1995-1997) and also was the interim CEO of a radio frequency and laser technology company (2009-2011). He began his career as a business development analyst (1993-1994) for Investment Advisors, Inc. He earned a BA in Economics from the University of Minnesota.
Darrin Dufresne, EVP Business Development
Prior to joining Provenire Capital, Mr. Dufresne was VP of Business Development for Ideal Energies (2021-2024), a commercial rewewable energy firm; Director of Commercial Leasing at Sherman Associates (2016-2021), a top ten Minneapolis commerical real estate (CRE) developer; and Director of Commercial Leasing at CSM Corporation (2004-2009), overseeing 6,000,000 SF of industrial real estate. His career started at CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE: CBRE) as a VP leasing a 4,000,000+ SF Industrial RE Portfolio for large institutional landlords. He also owns Blue Lake Commercial Real Estate, a CRE tenant representation firm he founded in 2009. He has closed over 750 CRE transactions totaling over 17 million SF and valued at 775 million. He holds a BS in Rhetoric and English from the University of Minnesota.
